Supporting the rehabilitation of muscle disease patients
We are cooperating with ‘Live Together House’, which is realizing the lifelong welfare that leads to a better life by developing potential abilities of severely disabled people.
The muscle disease patients’ muscles are getting weaker and weaker until it critically damages their body and organs. Thus it is very difficult for them to move even their finger.
Although they may be disconnected from the society easily, there are no restrictions in their mental activities. They have tremendous desire in achieving something.
There are patients who are not being able to achieve anything throughout their whole life. They just spend their time watching TV or playing computer games until they die.
‘Live Together House' is the only organization giving a chance to learn to muscle disease patients and supporting their cultural activities such as watching movies, eating out and shopping.
They are managing their program only through donations because they are a private organization which means they cannot receive appropriate financial support from the government. Therefore, Your Friends is supporting ‘Live Together House’.
